2026 Mandatory Reporting

The PRI’s approach to reporting is evolving. In 2026, Core PRI Reporting will be mandatory for all signatories. This will be the first time reporting has been mandatory for all established signatories since 2023.

A new reporting framework is expected to be released during PRI in Person, between the 4th and the 6th November.

Fully Managed PRI Reporting

We offer a fully managed PRI reporting service using our proprietary platform and extensive experience, delivering improvements to reporting outcomes year-on-year.

Our process begins with an initial document request followed by a brief call to clarify any outstanding items. Once complete, we prepare the report, generate an indicative score, and highlight key areas for improvement - offering tailored support to help address them.

This reduces our clients’ time spent on reporting by up to 80%.

In the 2024 reporting cycle, we helped clients to improve their PRI scores by up to 30% with minimal business impact.

PRI Reporting Gap Analysis

Danesmead Advisory can conduct a PRI gap analysis for prospective signatories as well as existing signatories who would like to improve their score. We provide indicative scoring and targeted guidance, highlighting the most cost- and effort--effective measures.

We use our industry knowledge to help you achieve better scores compared to the broader market and your peers.

PRI Pathways Assistance

PRI In Person is also expected to see the launch of Pathways. A new toolkit available to signatories and expected to encompass best practice guidance, responsible investment insights and, further, voluntary reporting.

Pathways reporting is expected to be introduced from 2027 with signatories able to report against any of three responsible investment ‘pathways’:

A)      Managing risk

B)      Addressing system-level risk

C)     Pursuing impact

Each of the pathways will be underpinned by nine responsible investment ‘pillars’, with signatories opting into Pathways Reporting expected to have questions on all of them.

Policies & Governance, Investment Analysis, Sustainability Goals, Investment Decision Making, Stewardship with Policymakers & other stakeholders, Stewardship with investees & assets, Engagement with External Managers, Engagement with Clients or beneficiaries, Collaboration

Thinking of Becoming a Signatory?

If you’re just starting out on your PRI journey, we can also conduct an initial gap analysis, help you to align with the six principles and get everything you need in place to become a signatory.
